Synopsis

The community gathers at a local church to mourn the passing of Geraint Ellis. DCI John and DS Vaughan attend the service, along with Connor and his mother. Amongst the sea of faces, Mia sits alone.

Catrin senses her son’s agitation during the service and confronts him afterward; does he know something about the Ellis murder? Was he involved in any way? Connor reacts angrily, lashing out at his mother and storming out of the house.

Connor is frightened. He knows it’s only a matter of time before the police come knocking. 

Mia tells him to hold his nerve. She has a plan that will help sort things.

Later, DCI John receives information that a local witness has placed Karl Lewis at the scene of the crime. A warrant for his arrest is issued.

As night falls, Mia, Lee, and Connor head out into the night, to an old ruin, a place with a dark history. A place of horror. Meanwhile, Karl Lewis is arrested and brought in for questioning.
