Synopsis

After the incident at the lake, Connor is in hospital, his life hanging in the balance.

Meanwhile, working late into the night, DCI Cadi John receives an anxious call from youth worker James Rhys saying that he’s seen Mia. A search unit is dispatched to the woods outside Blaenau where Rhys lives. 

Meanwhile, Connor – still unconscious – is transferred to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, his mother beside him, willing him to wake.

Deep in the mountains, the search for Mia continues. Cadi sees the sixteen-year-old crossing a narrow track up ahead and pursues her into the trees. Finally, they come face-to-face – the hunter and the hunted.

Mia is arrested and taken to Bangor for processing. Later, Mia and Lee are brought up from the cells for questioning. Finally, the sad truth about the murders begins to emerge.
