Ar Gwim, a family history, is about the aftermath, when the crop re-grows after the wheat has been sickled. “Ar Gwim” is also the name that has been given to the children of the few couples of Breton-language activists who decided, back in the 1950s to live their family life in Breton at the very moment when most of Bretons turned to French. This film is about those peculiar childhoods.
Directed by Soazig Daniellou.
