Synopsis

Until it was dismantled at the beginning of the 1990s, most of the Europeans knew nothing about Yugoslavia except for its Adriatic coast. The spectacular blue coastline of Istria and Dalmatia was though hiding an extremely rich patchwork of countries, peoples and cultures. From Ljubljana to Belgrade, through Dubrovnik, Mostar or Sarajevo, this film is about the recent history of the Balkan peninsula. It uncovers the new face of one of the most mesmerizing regions in Europe.
