Nine months after the events of the first series we return to North Wales as DCI Cadi John and DS Owen Vaughan investigate a brutal and senseless murder. As with the first series, the investigations is multi-faceted which draws them into the lives of a group of characters and into a world of lies, revenge, cruelty and neglect.
In tandem with the police investigation, we’ll go deeper into the lives of Cadi and Vaughan as we look at their lives away from the office as they deal with huge life events – for Cadi, the death of her father and for Vaughan, the birth of his daughter.
