Synopsis

A team of ethnologists meet the Moken people, the “sea gypsies” of the Mergui Archipelago, between Myanmar and Thailand.
They want to understand why the shamanic rituals are about to begin again after having disappeared during ten years. Indeed, whereas they believed that those traditions had stopped due to globalization, the scientists watch, fascinated, their renewal. They decide they will try to find the great shaman who is fishing away, somewhere among the 800 islands of the Mergui Archipelago. 

Through their journey we discover the Moken and their unique values. A treasury for mankind…
